Third Grade

Trinity Students Walking into Classroom
Third Grade Program

Trinity Episcopal School is actively exploring launching a 3rd Grade in the Fall of 2024 depending on student/community interest.  For more information about this opportunity, please contact Dr. Anthony Baron, Head of School by contacting the school office at 772-567-1146 or school@trinityvero.org

On Tuesday, February 6 at 5:30 PM the school will host an open house for prospective third grade families. The evening will be a time for families to learn about the mission and values of our parish school, and the great things that have been happening in our school, most especially how we are building discipleship and growing the minds of our young learners. We will also share with families what would be necessary on our end for their child to be able to attend the school. To RSVP to this event, please call the school office at 772-567-1146 or email school@trinityvero.org

Third Grade at Trinity Episcopal School will help children transition in their development from the lower elementary years to the upper elementary years.  Differentiated teaching styles will engage the students in reading, math, writing, science, social studies, and the arts. Interwoven throughout the daily activities is a unified approach to help children develop and build foundational beliefs and values from a biblical perspective. The classroom is a center that will allow the children to learn, work, and play cooperatively in a spiritual growth atmosphere.

As students participate in activities and studies that provide opportunities for their spiritual, personal, and academic development, they will be nourished in a variety of educational endeavors.  Special attention will be placed on further developing children’s fine motor skills through the instruction of cursive using the Handwriting Without Tears curriculum.  Additional topics unique to the upper elementary experience will include a further deepening understanding of science and social studies.  In addition to these topics, children will continue to grow and develop their understanding of the core subjects of Language Arts, Mathematics, and Bible at Trinity Episcopal School.
