Middle School (6) Education
Christian-centered education
Every aspect of our students’ experience at Trinity Episcopal School is grounded in a Biblical understanding of the world and how faith shapes their lives and the wider world around them. Monday through Thursday, the morning begins with chapel. Our middle school students not only actively participate in Chapel but also help lead the service functioning as readers, Cross Bearers and Acolytes.
At Trinity Episcopal School, faith does not stay contained in the Chapel classroom. Our faculty and staff carry Biblical topics and a Christian worldview that students bring with them throughout the day. Faith is woven into all academic instruction and activities, from the books we read to the way we discover our world, it is all influenced through our desire to understand God’s world.
Each grade also attends a dedicated Biblical Studies course, which is taught by the Chaplain. This allows for individualized instruction in an age-appropriate way led by an ordained clergyman.
Families are encouraged to participate in their child’s faith journey through attending worship at our Daily Morning Prayer and frequent All-School Eucharists. These services are a meaningful way to connect with God and each other through worship together.

High-Quality Curriculum
Trinity Episcopal School’s Middle-School builds off the high academic standards set in lower grades while preparing students for the rigors of High School. Trinity is fully accredited, and teachers must follow demanding and intense standards and ongoing education designed to ensure students receive excellent instruction. Classes are taught by experts on the subjects, giving children insight into detailed perspectives on the matter.
Math instruction is leveled, allowing teachers to match instruction to each individual student’s ability level in a tiered, sequential fashion. Students take math instruction on a regular track or an accelerated track, allowing all to flourish in the classroom.
Literature studied is chosen deliberately and with a focus on high-quality timeless literature – both enduring classics and more recent titles.
Students participate in a three-year sequence of foreign language instruction, providing an opportunity for higher placement in foreign language in High School.
History champions an understanding of Western Civilization and an awareness of our world.
Science instruction is interactive and interesting, showing students how God shapes our world and how that affects their daily lives.
Close-knit Community
Trinity’s focus on exceptional instruction is accompanied by close relationships with the teachers and an intimate class dynamic. This intentional community enables teaching that is tailored to each individual student and deep, insightful class discussions where every child possesses the ability to showcase their innate abilities and talents.
Activities throughout the year foster connections between parents, students, and the school, and families are encouraged to participate in their child’s education in a meaningful, hands-on fashion.
Non-discriminatory Policy:
Trinity Episcopal School is committed to admitting and welcoming students of any race, color, national, and ethnic origin.
