2-Yr-Old program

Pre-k 4

Trinity Episcopal School seeks a positive, patient, compassionate, energetic, flexible, Christian Preschool teacher to serve as the primary instructor and a role model to students. The teacher will develop and execute lessons that will give each student a rich foundation in Christ-centered early learning. In addition, the teacher will lead developmentally appropriate activities in a supervised and safe environment that encourages healthy, spiritual, physical, social, and emotional development for students.

Hours:  Will vary from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Monday to Friday – Full Time and Part Time


• High School Diploma or Equivalent – Required
• Experience working with 2-4 year old children – 1+ year Required
• Department of Children and Families course (40 hours + 5 Early Literacy) – Required
• CPR/First Aid Certification – Preferred
• Child Development Associate (CDA) Certification or FCCPC – Preferred
• Experience in working in a biblically based, Christ-centered environment – Preferred

$15 based on experience.

• Model Christ-like behavior both in and outside the classroom.
• Ability to communication effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to sit, stand and lift up to 30lbs on occasion.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members.

Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and teach age-appropriate lessons.
• Supervise and lead developmentally appropriate activities.
• Observe and evaluate students’ performance, behavior, social development, and physical health.
• Keep parents/guardians updated on their student’s daily activities and progress.
• Foster a classroom environment of safety and respect.
• Maintain basic cleanliness of classrooms.
• Attend educational conference and teacher training workshops as needed.
• Attend staff meetings.

Teaching Assistant and Aftercare Worker

Trinity Episcopal Preschool seeks a Christian Teaching Assistant to support the lead teacher in all areas needed. The right candidate will have experience working with 2–3-year-olds. The assistant must be positive, patient, flexible and energetic while maintaining a safe, healthy, and loving atmosphere. This position requires physical activity.

Hours:  Will vary from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Monday – Friday
Part-time and full-time available.

Additional Duties:

  • Implement daily lessons when the lead teacher is absent.
  • Assist in keeping the classroom neat, clean, and orderly.
  • Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times.


  • Minimum education: High School diploma.
  • CPR and First Aid training.
  • Able to sit, stand, and lift (30 lbs. on occasion).
  • Experience in Child Development or Early Education is a plus.
  • CDA is a plus.
  • 40-hour DCF course will be required within one year of employment.
  • Preferred experience working in a biblically-based, Christ-centered environment.

$13-$15 per hour based on experience.
