Trinity draws on a rich tradition of sacred music, from familiar church
standards to classics of the European musical repertoire and contemporary
American anthems and spirituals. In addition to regular worship services, the
Trinity music program offers two choral services per year: an Advent Lessons and
Carols service and a Choral Evensong.
The Trinity Choir
The Trinity Choir comprises sixteen to thirty-five volunteers and sings for the
10:00 a.m. Sunday service. The Choir enriches worship by offering anthems,
hymn
descants, and psalm settings in addition to their primary duty of leading
congregational song. During the regular season, Trinity Choir rehearses in the
Music Building from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday evenings and convenes in the
Sanctuary at 9:00 on Sunday mornings for warm-up and rehearsal prior to service.
During June and July, Trinity Choir meets only on Sunday mornings; and the choir
has vacation during the month of August.
In addition to singing for regular services, Trinity Choir sings the annual
Advent Lessons and Carols service and Choral Evensong services throughout the
year.
